The room was a smoking room (though i never said non- or smoking), the ac was on when we got there, and i opened the curtains to find an empty beer bottle with a cigarette butt in in. \nwas awakened by a 7:30am fire alarm, had to evacuate, etc....not the best experience.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserWhen arriving I was told my reservation was cancelled and then was told the only room available was a "Palor" room (room with only a sofa bed) it was almost 1 am and I did not want to have to start looking for another hotel at that hour. I was charged an outragious amount for local calls (AOL-dial up number) which I was told was a regional long distance call (didn't have to dial a 1 when dialing the number just a 9 to get out and the area code). Ordered breakfast using the in-room-dining-menu and the pancakes were greasy, the potatoes were missing and the Canadian Bacon (ordered ham) was like a piece of old tire. When trying to get the phone calls corrected when trying to talk to a manager was never called back after making 3 attemps to call and resolve the over charges. I called Raddison Worldwide reservations and inquired about a "Parlor" room and was told the only room that had a sofa bed was a suite and the sofa bed was in the living area, I was told they didn't have a room that only had a sofa bed ( have pictures to prove it). I would not ever stay at this hotel again and I plan on contacting Raddison very soon about this horrible place using the Raddison name.
