The Novotel is an outstanding hotel, well placed in the city centre alongside the River Foss. It has recently been refurbished and offers excellent accommodation and facilities. This hotel also has an indoor heated swimming pool, great if the Yorkshire weather is as cold and damp as it can be sometimes. For refreshment and a range of tempting meals, visit "The Old Glassworks Pub" and "The Garden Brasserie Restaurant", you'll not be disappointed.

would definatly visit again

we took our 3 year old grandaughter for her 1st visit to a hotel she loved it the staff were very friendly the breakfasts are lovely the atmosphere relaxed she was thrilled on checkout was given a small cudley mousse the location is also very good a stride away from the centre we recomend this hotel
