Very nice

I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always had a good experience. The pool and hot tub is great and a big hit with my kids. The breakfast buffet was very good as well as the complimentary drinks in the evening. The bathrooms could use a better cleaning, but keep in mind this is an older hotel that has had some updating.

Very disappointed

My wife and I were to spend the weekend at the hotel while picking up a new puppy. We arrived late on Friday night. I had made the reservation for a "smoking" room. That was my first big mistake. Upon entering the room we were hit by an overpowering smell of smoke. It was strong enough to make a smoker cough. The only window in the room would only open about two inches. Thank god my wife had brought a couple candles. Later, when we got ready to go to bed I went to pull the covers back on the "king sized" bed and I found that the maid had attempted to put a twin sized flat sheet on the bed as the bottom sheet. It did not even cover the sides of the bed. \n \nI, at this point, went down to the front desk, told them about the bed and asked for another room. They moved us the room next door. This one did not smell as smokey.When we went to bed this time I pulled the covers down on the bed and this bed had a fitted bottom sheet. Upon closer inspection the sheet fitted only on one side of the bed. Also the bed spread and comforter were stained. \n \nWe were so disgusted that we reserved a room at another hotel for the next night and checked out of this one in the morning.
