This hotel is located way on the east side of town, technically within the city limits, but maintaining a suburban feel. This hotel has all the amenities you expect from a Hilton, with the added advantage of being right across the street from the Racquet Club, host of the annual St. Jude Tennis Classic. The hotel is noted for its collection of modern sculpture outdoors and in the lobby, which adds to the property's exclusive feel.

The photo does no justice to this hotel, exceptionally helpful staff, very clean and well kept. 15 mins drive from downtown is not ideal, but value-for-money wise, this place is perfect. There is also a brilliant restaurant 5 mins walk that is well worth a visit - chicken wings as long as your arm! Parking here is more than ample - and free.

Doubletree disappointment

Were sorely disappointed and inconvenienced by this hotel's lack of accommodations for seniors with disabilities. Requested and rechecked confirmation of the necessity two adjoining rooms, one for requiring two double beds, due to parents' severe asthma and arthritis. Informed that, because "the Grizzlies were playing in town, all double-bed rooms were unavailable", & were relegated to non-adjoining king rooms, requiring hallway trips to check parents' night-time status and needs. Restaurant wait staff required 1 hour to serve one hamburger and one club sandwich. The only service-oriented professional was the 82 year old bellman.
