It's a safe bet to pack winter woollies and brollies for a trip to Aberdeen. Although locals insists it's 'warming up', temperatures are seldom above 20ºC (68ºF) and can drop to below 0ºC (32ºF).
On a sunny day, Aberdeen's silvery grey sky lends an attractive glitter to the city, but when the weather is overcast, low, grey rain clouds scud in off the North Sea making it hard to tell where the buildings stop and the sky begins.
