Getting there & Getting around

Getting there

Oxford's central position means there are plenty of options for getting there and away. Competition on the route to and from London is fierce with three bus companies serving the route, as well as rail options to London, Birmingham and beyond.

Driving and parking in Oxford is a nightmare and drivers are strongly advised to use the five Park & Ride car parks on major routes leading in to town.

Getting around

Your own two feet are your best means of transport in Oxford as the traffic in town can be a killer. Alternatively you can get in on the act and pedal around the city like a local student. If energy is lacking in your camp, buses thoroughly serve the area.
